Megatree Photos
Like any display that has one, the Megatree is the main feature. 2011 was our 3rd year. Each year we have added something to the Megatree. In 2010 we added strobes and a topper. In 2011, we added additional strobes, added and green and red lights to the clear. The most significant addition in 2011 was the 16 Spirals. The spirals were done with Multicolor strings and they were an impressive addition. The details of the tree are:
- 15 ft. Tall x 8 ft diameter base
- 68 Total Channels.
- Total of 48 vertical channels, 16 Channels each of Clear,Red and Green
- 16 Muti-color Spiral Strings
- 3-Color 3-Chanel Topper
- 15 Strobe Lights on a single channel
The Frame is made up completely of Grey PVC Conduit. The Main Pole is 2 1/4". The support ring and all supports are 3/4" PVC. The support ring is made up of 3 equal lengths of conduit that can be taken apart and store away. You can see in the photos that the Main Pole is actually built in sections. the Main pole is glued together accept for the to 2 ft. This is for easier storage. A 14ft Pole is very difficult for me to store.
